SOT

Sacro-Occipital Technique is a chiropractic method that focuses on the alignment and function of the sacrum (base of the spine) and the Occiput (base of the skull). The technique involves specific protocols to categorise the dysfunction in the body and uses blocks to help realign distortions. This can also include work on the cranium (Skull), joints and soft tissues, including muscles, ligaments and organs.

Activator

The Activator method is a chiropractic technique and protocol that involves using a handheld instrument designed to deliver a controlled, fast thrust to either the spine or joints with the aim of restoring motion and reducing pain.

Thompson

Thompson Technique also known as the Thompson Drop-Table Technique is a method that utilises specialise tables that have segmented drop sections to enhance the effectiveness of chiropractic adjustments. These allow a low force, high velocity thrust to the spine and pelvis. Chiropractor will often use leg length analysis to identify imbalances and misalignments of the spine and pelvis.

Webster Technique

Websteris a specialised chiropractic adjustment technique primarily used to promote proper pelvic alignment in pregnant women. The technique aims to facilitate optimal foetal positioning by addressing misalignments and dysfunctions in the pelvis and sacrum.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger points or “knot” are hyperirritable spots in skeletal muscle that are associated with palpable nodules in taut bands of muscle fibers. These points can be tender to the touch and may cause pain, either locally or in a referred pattern elsewhere in the body.

Diversified

Diversified is one of the most widely used and well-known methods in chiropractic care. It involves a manual, hands-on approach to adjusting the spine and other joints in the body. The goal of this technique is to restore proper movement and alignment of the vertebrae and joints, thereby improving function and reducing pain.

Fascial Release

Often referred to as myofascial release. The fascia is a web-like structure of connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, bones, nerves, and organs. The technique is aimed at relieving pain and tension and improving circulation and mobility in the body's connective tissues.
